Green Room Public Relations Demonstrates Continued Growth with
Three New Hires

PR Veterans Amy Speak and Chaz Godwin Ross join Green Room team

BOONTON, NJ (April 12, 2012) – Green Room Public Relations, a specialty agency focused on healthcare  public relations and media strategy, announces three new hires that together bring more than 35 years of experience to the company.

Amy Speak, Chaz Godwin Ross and Stacey Palmieri joined the agency’s burgeoning life science practice with a collective focus on delivering superior communications counsel and execution while expanding Green Room’s client base in the Northeast. Ross will also be charged with leading Green Room’s multimedia company, Q Communications. Ross and Palmieri will work from the agency’s headquarters in Boonton while Speak will manage communications operations from Green Room’s office in Cambridge, MA.

Speak brings more than 20 years of experience in life science communications, sales,

management and product training to Green Room. Prior to joining the agency, she served as market development manager for Florida-based GMP Companies, Inc., which commercializes innovative technologies ranging from genetic analysis to surgical devices. She also served as territory manager for Genzyme Genetics, representing industry-leading clinical testing services to healthcare professionals. In addition, Speak executed national, regional and trade media campaigns for global and boutique public relations agencies Porter Novelli and LaVoie Group. Her clients have included Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D, DeCode Genetics, Applied Biosystems and Avid Radiopharmaceuticals.

Ross, a media strategist and social media expert with more than 16 years of award-winning public relations experience, joins Green Room from socialsklz:-), where she served as Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing, helping to launch the local entrepreneurial venture into the national spotlight. Prior to joining socialsklz:-), Ross served with Marina Maher Communications, MultiVu, Hill & Knowlton and Fleishman-Hillard International Communications. Her work has led to the success of award-winning broadcast campaigns for Fortune 500 clients including: Abbott Laboratories, Procter & Gamble and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. She began her career in communications in news at the national level for Dateline NBC. At Green Room, she will serve as Vice President of Media Strategy, expanding the agency’s media department capabilities as well as managing the Green Room media team.

Palmieri, a recent graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL, begins her career at Green Room, where she will serve as a Media Specialist. She will provide support to the agency’s in-house team for media and digital strategies, including media outreach and social media campaigns. Prior to joining Green Room, Palmieri interned for the St. Johns County Public Library System in St. Augustine and Pinks and Greens – Golf for Women.

Green Room Public Relations Hires Former Daily Record Journalist
Tehani Schneider Manochio Joins as Assistant Account ExecutiveBOONTON, NJ (March 15, 2011) – Green Room Public Relations announced former Daily Record reporter Tehani Schneider Manochio has joined the hybrid agency’s PR team. Tehani brings award-winning journalism skills to Green Room PR’s media team to meet growing client needs. She was hired as an Assistant Account Executive.

Tehani brings more than six years of journalistic experience to Green Room PR, having served her entire career thus far as an award-winning reporter for the Gannett-owned Daily Record in Parsippany. Tehani’s work has been honored by the New Jersey Press Association and recognized by various agencies and publications, including the Associated Press, USA Today and Gannett Content One. During her time with the Daily Record, she covered several Morris County towns, including Boonton, and reported on municipal, county and state issues.

Most recently, Tehani took on a digital role with the newspaper, monitoring daily traffic to the publication’s Website, aggregating and publishing content from AP Exchange and other Gannett sites, including USA Today, and editing content for the print and the Web.  She also helped expand the visibility of the publication’s Website online through the use of SEO practices, and assisted with forms of outreach on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites. She holds a B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
